Thunderpole Thunderstick T2 | CB 26-28 MHz AM/FM/SSB Mobile Antenna
The 2 Foot tuneable Thunderstick is a high performance fibreglass CB antenna with a top-loaded coil designed to boost your signal.
The rigid construction and small design enables the antenna to be used in most environments, however if there is likely to be any contact with tree branches or bushes, etc. then we would advise to also add the Thunderpole 3/8" spring, as this will enable the antenna to spring back if struck by an object.
There is a built-in tuneable tip underneath the end cap to allow you to easily tune the SWR for an optimum reading.

2FT THUNDERSTICK ON 2019 JIMNY 02 December 2022 | Peter
GOOD SPEEDY DELIVERY AND NICELY MADE ANTENNA. I AM NOT SURE YET IF IT IS SUITABLE FOR MY SUZUKI 2019 JIMNY AS THE BEST POSITION ON THE CAR HAS TO BE FINALISED.

Nice solid aerial - I would recommend fitting the spring mount if it could be caught on anything.

Another fantastic item from thunderpole! 07 December 2020 | Alan
I don't normally leave reviews on products I purchase however on this occasion I feel that the Thunderpole Thunderstick 2ft deserves one. Firstly the Thunderstick antenna arrived in good time and very well packaged. It was extremely easy to install on my Ford ranger and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like some of the other antennas. I wanted a good quality antenna for when a group of us are out off roading without having to have something that was 6ft tall and in my opinion, not very nice to see on top or a 4x4. I chose the 2ft Thunderstick more for its smaller size and I have not been disappointed. After installing I gave it a bit of a test before going out on a weekend off roading. I had a mate park up on the side of the road in a village and off I went. We both have UK spec 4w cb radios and didn't loose contact with each other until we were 4.8 miles away from each other. This test was not carried out in an open area but driving down the A40 in South Wales. The 4.8 miles was a straight line measurement with actual driving distance of just over 6 miles. For such a discreet and short antenna I am more than happy with the results. Thank you Thunderpole and keep up the good work. For anyone looking at purchasing this item I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Good Performance for when you need to run a shorter antenna 21 May 2020 | Robert
This is a great choice for those that want a shorter antenna with a strong performance. It is also ideal for people who just want to use 40 channels as it will SWR in nicely for this. Good quality and price as well. I'm very happy with my 2ft Thunderstick - many thanks Thunderpole

The solution to a difficult installation 09 April 2020 | Matthew
During a motorhome build I fitted a drill-through mount in the centre of the van roof to provide optimal groundplane. However, the roof also facilitated a solar-panel, rooflight and 3G stub antenna. This ended up presenting real SWR issues. I tried a number of base and centre-loaded antennas, a ‘Tristar’ radial-kit etc, all to no avail.
Last week I tried a 2’ Thunderpole on a spring-mount and immediately saw an improvement. After adjusting the tip I got the SWR down to 1.2:1 relatively easily. The antenna is small enough that it avoids low branches, stiff enough that it doesn’t ‘rock’ or whistle like other antennas I tried, and with the suggested spring-mount is capable of flexing out of the way of danger. Range is impressive for a smaller antenna, and build quality is very good (albeit slightly thicker heatshrink to match the original firestik would be nice)
An excellent choice of antenna if you are having SWR/groundplane problems on a camper.
