Thunderpole Micro-Airband Mobile Scanner Antenna
The 'Micro Airband' is tuned to receive the Civil Band; Military Band and Air Band frequencies. It is ideal for receiving airband transmissions whilst in a vehicle. It comes with a strong 1" magnetic mount which is tested up to 70mph.
It is complete with 5 metres of thin RG174U cable and fitted BNC plug.

I purchased this aerial to replace the supplied aerial on the Bearcat 75XLT which is poor in performance beyond 30-40 miles.
This micro aerial is on my car roof and I can easily receive transmission out at 120nm (200km) at FL190 or 1500 feet at 70 miles from light aircraft. It’s quite amazing how good it is.
Can also be used mounted up a tree on a metal bracket or on a tin roof of the house.

An excellent antenna for military and civil air and so small but has reception equal to bigger options. Yes it does stay on at 70 mph as stated. Will purchased one for each vehicle. Being small it tucks away easily when not in use.

Very light aerial but pulls in the signals. I am very pleased with this product and I rate it highly.
I recommend the Micro Airband as it performs extremely well.
