Thunderpole Excalibur | CB 26-28 MHz AM/FM/SSB Homebase Antenna
The 'Excalibur' is a very small homebase antenna which is ideal to use if a longer antenna cannot be used. Expect a range of about 4 miles if mounted outside and possibly about 2 miles in the loft. Suitable for CB 27/81; PR 27Gb & 10M Amateur. Please see below the cable length required for SWR tuning.

A lot better than I thought it would be, the antenna is mounted in the loft, I am getting contacts four miles from my home using the Excalibur and a CRT SS9900

The Thunderpole Excalibur was fitted yesterday on the roof of my house and seems fine. I'm using it to give me the potential for a base station at home. It's sturdy and operational with no need for adjustment as far as I can tell.

ideal for ones who can't use a big antenna but don't expect the distance as a big one, works well for local copies.
