Thunderpole Galaxy 5/8 | CB 26-30 MHz AM/FM/SSB Homebase Antenna
The Thunderpole Galaxy 5/8 is the latest generation of high performance base antennas. It has a 5/8 wave design and the total length is only 4.35 metres, giving it high wind stability along with excellent performance. The construction is high quality fibreglass with tuneable top whip.
The total usable bandwidth is 26 – 29.7 Mhz, making it ideal for CB and 10m amateur use. The robust weatherproof fibreglass design means you can enjoy many years of use from this high spec Thunderpole antenna.

19cm Whip - Marked at 14cm for centre frequency of 27.5MHz (27-28MHz use)

11cm Whip - Marked at 7.5cm for centre frequency of 29MHz (28.3-29.7MHz use)
Bandwidth approximately 1.4 MHz ( 0.7 MHz each way )

excellent customer service from thunderpole.
easy setupset for CB band,set the big tip to the mark cutting down to fit.
getting good results on send and recieve
coupled with RG213 UBX cable swr under 1.0
excellent forward power and hardly any reflected

The Thunderpole galaxy
Fantastic antenna well built and very strong
On my roof in London 50mph wind the antenna didn’t move.
Easy to SWR one of those antennas put it up and forget. Happy days.
