Thunder pole despatched the radio quickly. I received it very late on the due day just as I was leaving work but that is due to the vagaries of the local post office.
Having tried the TX in various spots it's a reception demon. The noise reduction lifts voices out of the hash beautifully. The functions are well set out in the buttons and I can very quickly switch between bands and modes, and change the settings.
On transmission, testing from a hill on the edge of York suggests a practical range of 2 and perhaps 3 miles (S6 R4-5 at 2 miles) with the stock antenna. At 4.5 miles I was nearly inaudible in S3-4 of hash. Of course, antenna length is everything and hooked up to a mobile whip, or a wire antenna on a portable pole, I have a feeling that the TX will do very well.

Just purchased this for use on a tractor because we cannot get a good signal we have tried lots of earth techniques so this is why we purchased the hand held which seems to work well we just need to get used to it a bit more hence only 4 stars at the moment

The costumer service was great 5* to that too arrived within 2 working days in London area feels very solid and well put together didn't had a chance to test the car kit just yet but regardless of the fact that I live in the woods I picked up couple of times chanel 19 conversations on stock antena I was pleasantly surprised.

Arrived within two days to Northern Ireland.
This is a quality feeling radio with superb audio.. I have been listening to America on AM clear as a bell using just the stock antenna. CB is pretty quiet here in Northern Ireland so I haven’t had the opportunity to test the transmit.

Recently, I acquired a Thunderpole TX inspired by positive YouTube reviews and Delboy's videos. This handheld radio boasts outstanding reception, especially with its stock antenna. The NRC feature impressed me, allowing reception indoors and recieving Italy and the USA on "Super Bowl" channel 6. In summary, if you're seeking a versatile CB radio for on-foot, in-car, or portable use, I highly recommend this product. Kudos to Thunderpole for their excellent service. Thanks.
