For the price, it was quite a surprise to receive the very promptly delivered antenna.
It was put into service immediately on our Raynet weekend exercise in Cumbria, to assist the organisers with comms on the Fell Tops.
Excellent all round.

The antenna arrived pretty quick and does EXACTLY what I need it to do, it was well packaged which is always something I appreciate, it shows me that Thunderpole staff do care about how the goods arrive. can I give 6 stars?

Great piece of kit. Quality build and very affordable. I use this antenna mainly for 70cm and PMR 446 and get good reception but i have also used it to transmit on 2m and was suprised to find the VSWR still below 1.5. The dipole centre can be adapted for use on any frequency as the antenna also comes with a 1/4 wave cutting chart that covers almost all bandwidths.
