I had a difficult installation on a steel-roof campervan, with the presence of a large solar-panel, 4G wifi antenna, rooflight and other fitments appearing to cause either a groundplane or RF reflection issue. I tried numerous different styles of antenna, but there is something about the design/construction of this antenna (possibly because it has a top-loaded coil?) that made it a LOT more tolerant than other antenna. It's been a bit of a life-saver, even out-performing a 5ft Firestik II in terms of low SWR tuning.
If you are struggling with SWR on a difficult vehicle, I would suggest giving this antenna a go.

As always I have never had any problems with Thunderpole products And I purchased these items because I saw a video on you tube and thought that that would be a great idea for a future vehicle that hopefully I will be able to get.
(I got this idea from watching a militant vehicle convoy and a few of these vehicles had these short rigid antenna on the rear upper corners of the vehicles) so at seeing this I thought that would be a cool way to place on this future vehicle, but however I am really tempted to put one on my currant vehicle.

The Super Flexi 4ft is an excellent antenna - at a great price. It reminds me of a beefed up DV27 back in the day. Th super flexi SRW's in nicely and performs really well.
