Easy to SWR. Big improvement on the Thunderpole apollo I was using. Getting contacts that I wasn't getting before.

This is an fantastic antenna. It’s performance with my CRT SS9900 radio is definitely on a par with my Sirio 4000HP and price wise the Red Devil is terrific value. The antenna is wide banded from 27mhz to 28mhz - so zero faf with tuning - highly recommended

Mounted on the back of FH truck cab due to overall height which i know isn't ideal but it swr in straight the way and I could hear people that I couldn't before whith the factory fitted antenna

Very very good antenna. I have had 3 of these over 20 years (had one stollen, sold one and still have one). These replaced the Scarlet Worrior back in the 90's and It's amazing. forget the springer antenna, this will get your signal miles past them. Just remember, bigger the better on CB/11meter band. The CB band needs and antenna 5.5 meters long at a half wave and 2.75 meter long at a quarter wave. this antenna is very closr to a quarter wave length and by employing some of the Devils magic, Thunder Pole have done really well. I love this twig BUT stay within the frequency band width 26-28Mhz and the SWR will only ever need a tiny amount of ajustment for the purfect match. Having said that, out of the "box" it was 1:1.5 witch is fine. Well worth every penny. If there is a problem, it will be with the mount your using!! Best 73's DE 2E0LMR/Magpie.

thunderpole red devil.... amazing product well made easy to install fantastic performance .. swr virtually perfect with no adjustment transmission and reception very very good, delivery nxt day wild company to deal with ill be back!
