I purchased this antenna to go on my Thunderpole T-X handheld. In a recent test from high ground to a receiving station close to ground level 6 miles away and comparing the standard rubber duck that comes with the radio with this Albrecht CL27 BNC - There was a report of a significant improvement in both signal and audio level v the standard rubber duck, which I was very happy with. A worthwhile investment for sure.

Hi. My original plan was to use this on one of my TTI H100's. It's an excellent antennae, well made but I think just a bit too big to hang off the TTI with a SMA converter. That sounds negative but it's not, the TTI is a really nice little radio but I don't want to risk snapping off the SMA. With the window clip mount and RG174 it's really excellent and also matches my T800 nicely. Everything nicely de stressed. One of my cars has a plastic roof and this serves nicely. Good product.
