Sturdy product but has short sides 05 July 2022 | Phillip
I can't fault the build quality and sizing, the product works well and is a fantastic width for 160cm radio's.
The only downside and this i appreciate is a preference is that the sides are quite short so would be great for narrow radios front to back or thin modern radios but when putting on older radios not necessarily in the thunderpole range they don't provide a great lift of the front of the radio.
I bought these for some older 80's radios audiolines and uniden models and the combination of longer chassis and wide body means that the stance only comes up from the table by around 1-2cm.
